Paul Niemeyer

Paul has been working passionately across all aspects of media x commerce for more than 14 years. His expertise focuses on platform economics, retail media with German retailers, and connected commerce as a fusion of brand strategy and performance marketing. He began his career by building up direct-to-consumer business at an e-commerce startup before moving to the agency side in 2016 to set up an Amazon activation unit. Later, he took on a leadership role at the DIY retailer OBI, where he managed its external marketplace business. He then returned to the agency world to lead the retail media division of Hearts & Science as Managing Partner. Throughout his career, Paul has gained experience across FMCG, DIY, healthcare, and mobility industries.
