
Mattis Koch is responsible as Unit Director Realtime Media for the Client Strategy & News Business Hub area at Mediaplus Realtime – part of the Serviceplan/Mediaplus Group.
Mattis Koch, a native of Mannheim, began his professional career in 2012 in consulting/account management at the creative agency Scholz und Friends (Hamburg). After moving to the communications network OMNICOM Media Group, he gained his first media experience in investment and accountability from 2014 to 2019, becoming familiar with the world of programmatic media. He specialized in programmatic advertising and played a key role in shaping the group's inventory and deal management.
A trained marketing communications specialist, Mattis Koch served as Vice Chairman of the Digital Marketing Quality Focus Group of the German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW) from 2020 to 2022, alongside his professional work. Today, he remains active in the BVDW's Programmatic Advertising and Retail & Commerce Media Ecosystem working groups, actively shaping the market.
